Greg Worsowicz, MD, MBA:
Medical Director
Dr. Worsowicz serves as the medical director of Rusk Rehabilitation Center.
He received his medical degree from the University of Florida and completed his residency
training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor University (Houston, TX).
He currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
at the Universtiy of Missouri-Columbia.
Gary Payne:
Chief Executive Officer
Gary serves as the CEO of Rusk Rehabilitation Center. Beginning his
career as a hospital pharmacist, he brings 30 years of health care and leadership
experience. Joining Rusk in May of 2006, he spent the prior 23 years with BJC Health Care
most recently as an executive with the corporate offices in St. Louis Missouri.
Payne brings a strong focus on service excellence. It is a principle that he has championed
his entire career. Payne says: “We are in the business of taking care of people to the absolute best
of our ability. People place their trust in us during some of the most vulnerable times
of their life. We in health care must honor that privilege each and every day not only
with our minds but with our hearts.”
Susan Ottery, RN :
Chief Nursing Officer
Susan serves as the Director of Patient Care Services of Rusk Rehabilitation Center.
Susan graduated from the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois with her R.N. degree.
She started working as a staff nurse at Rusk Rehabilitation Center in 1986 and has
been promoted several times into her current position of Director of Patient Care. Susan is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered
Nurse (CRRN) and has had extensive acute hospital experience in medical/surgical, cardiology,
and oncology areas of nursing; prior to working at Rusk.
Marilyn Earley, MA, CCC, SLP:
Director of Clinical Services
Marilyn serves as the Director of Clinical Services. She received her bachelor's and
master's degrees from the University of Iowa. She is a Speech Pathologist and brings more
than 25 years of healthcare experience to Rusk Rehabilitation Center.
Karl Hardman, RN, BSN:
Director of Marketing Operations
Karl serves as Director of Marketing Operations. He received his Associate of Science in Nursing from Moberly Area Junior College in 1987 and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University in 1991. Before taking on the role of Director of Marketing Operations, he served as a Referral Liaison at Rusk Rehabilitation Center for more than eight years. He brings 20 years of hospital, administration, rehabilitation and education experience to his current position.
Robin Prater:
Director of Human Resources and
Unit Administrator of the rehab unit at Columbia Regional Hospital
Robin serves as Director of Human Resources.
She has an associate's degree from Columbia College. Robin brings more than 25 years of Human
Resource experience to Rusk Rehabilitation Center, 20 of which have been in health care in the Columbia area.
