Larry Meeker

Larry S. Meeker, M.B.A., M.S., P.T.

CEO

Larry joined Rusk Rehabilitation Center in 2014 as CEO. He achieved his bachelor’s degree in science from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in business administration from William Woods University and a master’s degree in physical therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Prior to joining Rusk, Larry was the area manager and director of Lake Regional Health System’s rehabilitation therapy department for 16 years. His past experience also includes operating a sports and industrial medicine clinic and serving as a consultant for rural hospitals to build and operate inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation departments.


Greg Worsowicz

Gregory Worsowicz, M.D., MBA

Medical Director

Dr. Worsowicz became the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri, and Medical Director of Rusk Rehabilitation Center in 2002. He oversees the clinical, educational, and research programs offered at the Rusk Rehabilitation Center. His clinical and research interests include developing post-acute rehabilitation programs, healthcare policy, and geriatric rehabilitation. He feels that the healthcare team at Rusk is prepared to face the future challenges of our healthcare system.

Andy Larson

Andy Larson, RN

Director of Marketing Operations

Andy joined Rusk in September 2012 as director of marketing operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri Columbia and worked as a nurse at Rusk after graduation. He also comes to Rusk with over ten years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device/biologics industry. “As a prior nurse at Rusk I have had the privilege to be a part of the amazing work that happens here in helping patients after a life changing event, I’m excited to be returning in a new role promoting this unique facility.”

Robin Prater

Robin Prater

Director of Human Resources

Robin joined Rusk Rehabilitation Center in 1997 when Rusk became a Joint Venture of HealthSouth and the University of Missouri. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Columbia College and has worked in the Columbia healthcare community for more than 25 years.

Mary Schnell

Mary Schnell, MSN, RN

Director of Quality Assurance and Risk Management

Mary joined Rusk Rehabilitation Center in December 2011. She has a master's degree in Health Care Leadership from the University Of Missouri Sinclair School Of Nursing.  Mary’s clinical background includes specialty areas of trauma, medical- surgical nursing, behavioral health, and leadership skills.  Her experience with CMS and Joint Commission surveys will provide an in-house resource for staff and peers. She is excited to bring her experience and knowledge of evidence based practice to the Rusk patient population and staff.

Carrie Scott

Carrie Scott

Controller/CFO

Carrie joined Rusk in May 2013 as controller/CFO. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has worked in finance for 11 years. She comes to Rusk with over eight years of management and healthcare experience. Carrie is excited to join her passion for finance with the facility’s passion for superior patient care and outcomes. She believes that regardless of the challenges facing the healthcare community today, Rusk will continue to be a leader in rehabilitation.

Tori Sisson

Tori Sisson, M.A., CCC-SLP

Director of Therapy Operations

Tori joined Rusk in December 2003 as speech therapy manager, and in July 2013 was promoted to her current position of director of therapy operations. Tori has more than 14 years of therapy experience and 10 years of management experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Missouri in Columbia and a master’s degree of arts from Truman State University. “As a therapist with a true compassion for patient care, I am excited to lead our therapy department to a higher standard of outcomes for patients that we treat.”

Amy Terezopolus

Amy Terzopoulos, LPN, MSW, LCSW

Director of Case Management

Amy joined Rusk in 2011 as director of case management. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stephens College and her master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri Columbia. She comes to Rusk with six years of acute care case management experience. Amy’s enthusiasm for her role at Rusk comes from working with a team of experts who are dedicated to making miracles happen.
